Admissions and Aid
Review tuition information, scholarship opportunities and financial aid for KU's many well-respected and sought-after nursing programs.
No matter which nursing program in the KU School of Nursing you pursue, we're here to help with admissions, costs and financial aid.
We offer three ways to obtain your Bachelors of Science in Nursing as well as programs to earn a master's, DNP or Ph.D. in nursing. Each of our programs has different admissions requirements.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Community College Nursing Partnership
- Online RN to BSN
- Master of Science
- Doctor of Nursing Practice
- Doctor of Philosophy
We offer a multitude of scholarships based on academic performance, financial need, racial or ethnic minority identity, special eligibility and more. You only need to complete one application form to apply for all these scholarships. The application will be sent out to admitted students via school email. Some of these are need-based and require completion of the FAFSA (additional information below).
Financial Aid and Tuition
Your costs will depend on what program you are enrolled in and the amount of time needed to complete your course requirements. The Kansas Board of Regents establishes tuition and fees, which you will pay at the beginning of each semester. Visit the Registrar's Office for information about tuition and fees for each of our programs.
To apply for financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.studentaid.gov. Our school code is 001948, the same as the main campus in Lawrence. If you have any questions, contact Student Financial Aid at firstname.lastname@example.org.
